Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Chief Minister's Inspection Team are to provide administrative oversight, ensure effective policy implementation, and take cognizance of issues concerning public interest. The team assists the Chief Executive in identifying administrative maladies and suggests remedial measures to improve the efficiency of the provincial administration, with the ultimate goal of ensuring "Good Governance." In short, it acts as the eyes and ears of the Chief Minister and Chief Executive of the Province.
Functions
- Inspect sample development projects throughout the province with the following objectives:
- that development projects are properly planned and are executed efficiently, expeditiously and economically with effective quality controls and to recommend appropriate action against the defaulting officials / departments
- that directives / orders of the Government regarding development projects are being fully implemented and
- that officials of National Building departments and contractors are carrying out their duties, responsibilities and tasks properly and efficiently
