Aims and Objectives
The aim and objectives of the Chief Minister's Inspection Team is to ensure administrative, overview, policy implementation and to take cognizance of the issues of Public interest and to assist the Chief Executive in identifying the administrative maladies and to suggest remedical measures to improve the efficiency of the provincial administration, with the aim of ensuring "Good Goverance". In short, it acts as Eyes and Ears of the Cheif Ministers/Chief Executive of the Province.
Existing Work Pattern of CMIT
Functions
- Inspect sample development project throughout the province with the following objectives:
- that development projects are properly planned and are executed efficiently, expeditiously and economically with effective quality controls and to recommend appropriate action against the defaulting officials / departments
- that directives / orders of the Government regarding development projects are being fully implemented; and
- that officials of National Building departments and contractors are carrying out their duties, responsibilities and tasks properly and efficiently
